BP Road Safety Children’s Theatre

Providing traffic training to approximately 1,5 million children in our country for 15 years, BP Road Safety Children’s Theatre continues to perform the play called “Konuşan Trafik” (Talking Traffic) for children between the ages of 4 and 8 throughout Turkey. The mobile theatre team of BP Road Safety Children’s Theatre has staged nearly 5.000 plays across Turkey. Just in the first 6 months of 2013, it performed more than 100 plays and, with the cooperation of 150 trainers, raised the awareness of traffic and pedestrian rules in nearly 16.000 children. In 2008, BP Road Safety Children’s Theatre was awarded “the Most Successful Social Responsibility Project in Education” in the Golden Compass Public Relations Awards organized every year by the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD). We feel right proud of conducting the communication activities of this theatre, which raises road safety awareness in children with the idea “as the twig is bent, so grows the tree”, for long years.
